BERMUDA BASIL BLUSH

Fresh basil and pink grapefruit lend subtle herbal notes and bright citrus zing to this blushing beauty.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 ml Pink House or White Roof Gin

  • 25 ml freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice

  • 2 or 3 basil leaves

  • 1 dash angostura bitters (or grapefruit bitters)

  • Light tonic water or soda water

STEPS TO MAKE IT

  1. Thinly slice 1 or 2 basil leaves and muddle in bottom of a tall glass

  2. Add ice, gin, grapefruit juice and 1 dash of bitters

  3. Stir gently to blend and top up with tonic or soda water

  4. Garnish with fresh grapefruit wedge and extra basil leaves
