OUR STORY
HOW IT ALL STARTED
After more than 30 years in the Bermuda insurance industry, our company founder and CEO Roy Fellowes felt it was time to try something in addition to and very different from insurance - making gin. What started as a fanciful dream, turned into several years of research and development, (i.e. many interesting gin tastings!), and finally became reality when Bermuda Gin Co. was established in October 2019.
THE BGC TEAM
The Bermuda-based company is family owned and operated by Roy, his wife Susan and daughter Kristyn. We take an ‘all hands on deck’ team approach and work together to produce great gin products and endeavor to provide a genuine, personal customer service experience.
ABOUT US
Our mission is to put Bermuda on the gin map of the world by producing locally inspired gin products to capture the spirit and uniqueness of Bermuda itself, and we are delighted to have introduced two exciting gins, Pink House and White Roof, which we feel are unique in the market, in both taste and design. The flavor profiles and recipes were created around our kitchen table, inspired by island life, and feature botanicals common to Bermuda such as hibiscus in Pink House and prickly pear in White Roof.
Bermuda Gin Co. is owned by Bermudians, our gin recipes were developed in Bermuda and our stylish packaging was created by a local design team. We are proud of our unique island home and wanted to combine the traditional elements and colours of Bermudian architecture but with a modern geometric flair.
We only do one thing at BGC – make gin. We are passionate about producing high-quality, delicious products and based on initial sales and the positive feedback we are receiving, it looks like we are succeeding!
